I was drawn in by the name. The sign just says "New York Fried Chicken Pizza." Is it pizza with fried chicken on top? A pizza made on a big flat chicken disc? Why New York? Of course, it just means they have fried chicken and pizza. Also, intriguingly, more unusual stuff like fried okra, Jamaican beef patties, gyros. But most of the menu is chicken, pizza, and fish.
I had the three piece with fries, plus fried okra because I never pass that up. The chicken was very good: meaty, with a very crisp, seasoned crust. I had planned to save some for later but gobbled it all up. Really good fries too, lightly battered. The okra was big chunks, perfectly fried. Serving sizes are large. Service was good. The place is an old fast food place, nothing fancy, and the bathroom is sketchy.
I'll be back, I'm sure. Much better than KFC, though not quite as good as our bumper crop of "gourmet" fried chicken places. -

Hot food. But zero flavor in the chicken. Not sure how the fried chicken can have no flavor, at all. Especially when, everything weird tastes like chicken. That's why that is a saying when you describe mystery meat to someone. it tastes like just flour was used for the breading. No salt, no paprika, no pepper, nothing. Try adding flavoring to fried food after it is cooked. It doesn't end up how you want. I really wanted to like this place as I have been searching for a place in my neighborhood that isn't the KFC or Popeyes.
KFC has a more chicken-flavored protein. Surprising, since a couple of years ago they addressed the long-standing rumor that they were nothing more than fried rodent with a DNA test result.
I can't recommend trying this to anyone. Unless you MUST show up to an office potluck with coworkers you don't really want to be around or there is that one person who can't even be in the same zip code as a grain of salt without hearing their blood pressure pop.
The wedges that I had suffered the same lack of flavor but at least tasted like potato. And you can add salt and ketchup after those are prepared. -

I will never get food from here again. I will be calling the health department due to the fact all my food was spoiled the coleslaw tasted like it was fermented the potatoes tasted like spoiled milk the mac and cheese was undercooked the macaroni was so hard it almost broke my teeth and the chicken was burnt to a crisp the rating I want to give is a negative 10 but that's not an option I will never eat here again pure disgusting

My sister told me about this place so I tried it out. I was not disappointed. The food is great. The wings were huge and the portion of fries is very big. We ordered the 6 piece Wings on Fire. They really are like eating fire. They are spicy. I also ordered the buffalo wings which were sooooo good. They were very spicy, tart and a tad bit sweet compared to wings I've had at other places. I loved the food here. Will be back.

I ordered crispy fried chicken wings and the store even called to confirm. They asked me if I wanted buffalo wings which is spicy/hot. I explained that I did not want spicy wings and they sent them anyway so now I am throwing out $25 worth of wings.
Terrible service! Do yourself a favor and never order from this establishment. Just terrible!
